Actually compared to the outgoing Zytek 3.4L V8 (550hp, 420Nm) this Ferrari engine seems a bit underpowered in terms of specific output (hp&Nm per L) Sound pun like GT race car not single seater. Exhaust note a bit disappointing compared to the old Zytek engine. But because of the higher torque and hp plus better chassis and aero its already clearly faster than the old car at Silverstone testing. Engine durability is the main goal right now so perhaps later Ferrari may squeeze more power out of it.
